Gabriel Lobato
Clinical Director and Supervisor
Certified Clinical Trauma Professional
Gabe Lobato is a licensed therapist supporting individuals and couples through anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, emotional dysregulation, and major life transitions or losses. His background includes extensive training in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and somatic experiencing. He integrates these modalities in a flexible, client-centered way to help people deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
In sessions, clients can expect a warm, collaborative environment where they are invited to share their story, clarify why therapy feels important now, and define the goals that will guide their work together. Gabe often helps clients explore how past experiences influence present struggles and provides practical tools, psychoeducation about the body and nervous system, and opportunities to practice new skills with supportive guidance. Homework may be offered when it supports real-life application.
Gabe measures progress through brief check-ins at the start of each session, ongoing client feedback, and a simple rating system that tracks how close clients feel to meeting their identified goals. When appropriate, he incorporates baseline assessments to compare progress over time. He offers in-person appointments Monday through Thursday and strives to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered in their healing process.
